If like me grinding to tier 10s is your thing then you should do that. If you just find playing particular tanks fun, you should just do that. While the ST-I i have been grinding for the longest time. My next tier 10 will be the t11e03 just because it is on track. I am on always on the lookout on how to reduce my effort and get more tier 10s. before the russian tank changes got the IS-7 and the 430 II, so i got the obj 430u. same is the case with the deathstar, ground it out from scratch before its removal and hence got it and the badger. i got the fv 215b before it was removed and hence the super conqueror. then just before the first ranked season, i ground out the t57 heavy, if i remember correctly i saved a ton of xp just because the light tank changes happened before that.
for my first year i did not have a single tier 10, i was mindlessly grinding any tank i could find. One and a half years into the game and I still don't have a tier X.
